THE ETERNAL WEDDING Samu · Starry Bodies starrybodies.com/starrytelling.html A teaching excerpt. Lightly edited for clarity. Imagine the universe is like a fucking temple, essentially. It has the base here in January and February. It’s like the bottom of the year. Time is a temple. Not even the universe, just time. That’s the foundation. Saturn is the foundation. Then there’s the structure and the building and the courts, the many people all circularly around. That’s Jupiter: Sagittarius and Pisces, the ruler of those two. Then there are the temple guards, the walls and the gates and the guardians and the protections. That’s Mars: Scorpio and Aries. Then there are the families, the kitchens and the food and the beautiful art, the shrines and all the nice, beautiful things. That’s Venus. There are the cousins and the tender relationships. That’s Venus: Libra and Taurus. Then there’s the inner circle: grandma and grandpa, brother and sister, the closest advisors. Partners in business and life and war and peace. There are the documents and contracts and sacred scrolls that we use to make the temple alive, and the sacred implements. That’s Mercury, the wizards of the temple court: Gemini and Virgo. In the middle of it all, at the top of the altar, top of the pyramid, middle of the summer, it’s the queen and the king. Cancer and Leo. That’s the Moon and the Sun. That’s the marriage. All time on this Earth is kind of like what I call the eternal wedding. This arc, the same narrative over and over, in infinite different combinations. How do we come correct and fulfill our roles, abide by protocol and invent new protocols, and apologize when we step out of line?
